Everybody is a pedestrian at some point in their journey, whether walking several miles, a few blocks to the bus stop, or to a parking space. The Pedestrian Program's mission is to promote walking as a sustainable and healthy mode of transportation and to reduce pedestrian collisions in San Francisco.
