To Giants GamesRegular Service to the ballpark:The following lines offer regular service to the ballpark. Links are to schedules at transit.511.org.
The T-THIRD and N-JUDAH Metro lines provide regular service to the ballpark from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. But you may take ANY train going to Mission Bay, Caltrain, or Sunnydale to get to the ballpark. Proof of Payment is in effect on Muni Metro. The 10 bus line provides regular service to the ballpark area, from before 6 a.m. until around 7:00 p.m., weekdays, and until 10:00 p.m. on weekends. All of these lines are accessible. A list of accessible surface stops on the N-JUDAH line west of the Metro subway is available. All stops on the T-THIRD line (West Portal through Sunnydale) are accessible. Regular Muni fares apply for ballpark service. Special service to the ballpark:Special Metro Ballpark Service operates on game days only, starting about 2 hours before games, making local subway stops and continuing to the ballpark. These trains have their destination as "Mission Bay" or "Caltrain". Depending on service needs on a given day, they may begin at West Portal, Castro, Van Ness, or Embarcadero. Any train to Mission Bay, Caltrain, or Sunnydale will take you to the ballpark. If you miss the "Special", or are on the J, L, or M lines, you may take any Embarcadero-bound train inbound to Van Ness Station and transfer to a Caltrain-bound train at the same platform. Proof of Payment is in effect on
Muni Metro. Muni riders taking Metro in the subway are encouraged to board at the stations between Castro and Van Ness whenever possible, to avoid the congestion caused by the many people boarding at the downtown stations. This service is accessible. How to get to the ballpark from within S.F.From northern San Francisco, take the 9X, 10, 30, 45, or 47 lines directly to the ballpark. Or take other Muni service to Market Street, and transfer to any train going to Mission Bay or Caltrain. From the Richmond District, take the 1, 2, 5, 31, or 38 lines to Market Street and transfer to any Metro train going to Mission Bay or Caltrain in the subway. From the Sunset District, take the N-Judah directly to the ballpark. Or take other Muni service to the Metro subway and take any train going to Mission Bay or Caltrain. From the Parkside District, take the L-Taraval and transfer to any train going to Mission Bay, CalTrain, or Sunnydale at West Portal or Van Ness Station. Or take other Muni service to the Metro subway and take any train going to Mission Bay or Caltrain. From southern San Francisco—not South San Francisco—take the T-line directly to the ballpark. Or take other Muni service or BART to the Metro subway and take any train going to Mission Bay or Caltrain. Transfering from other agencies
To transfer from BART to Muni at other stations, or to transfer to Muni from other agencies, see the Fares page section on transfering onto Muni from other transit agencies. BART riders are strongly encouraged to transfer to Muni at Embarcadero Station, and to obtain your ticket to ride Muni before you exit BART . Leaving the BallparkRegular T-line and N-line service will operate as scheduled throughout the game. Special Metro service will begin during the 7th inning or as needed. The special ballpark service will go at least to Embarcadero Station where riders may transfer to regular Metro service. It will continue to pick up riders from King Street until all waiting patrons have been accommodated. A limited number of L and M trips may be available directly from the ballpark. For Metro service, please purchase a transfer if you do not already have a valid pass, ticket or transfer. Transfers are available at the Giants Sales windows located outside AT&T Park. Proof of Payment is required on Muni Metro. Fares are as follows:
Please be prepared to show your Proof of Payment to Muni staff working the entrance lines to Muni Metro. If you do not have proof of payment, you will be sent back to the Giants sales window to purchase a ticket. Muni tokens or token coupons and "Muni to BART" discount coupons cannot be used at this time to purchase proof of payment at the Giants sales window. "Muni to Ferry" tickets are valid proof of payment for returning from AT&T Park to Embarcadero BART via the shuttle. The Muni Proof of Payment transfers automatically issued at the Metro turnstiles (usually green, blue, pink or orange) will most likely be expired at this time. Check the time stamped on your transfer. If it's expired, vendors at the Giants sales windows will sell you a transfer for your return trip. You may also use regular bus service, lines 30 or 45, which stop at 4th and Townsend and 3rd and Brannan Streets; line 47, which stops at 4th and Townsend; or Line 10 which stops at Townsend and both 3rd and 2nd Streets. All of these lines are accessible. AT&T Park Fare InfoProof of Payment is in effect on Muni Metro. Always ask for a transfer on buses and the F-line. One-way tickets are sold at the ballpark both pre- and post-game for the regular Muni fare. Sales start about 2 hours prior to game time and resume after the 6th inning. These tickets are sold at the designated Giants sales windows located outside AT&T Park.
